Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber

This is one of my favorite vampire book series of all time!

Vampire Kisses

The mansion on top of Benson Hill has been empty and boarded up for years. But a new family has moved in. A family that never ventures out during the day. Who are these creepy people -- especially the handsome, dark, and elusive Alexander Sterling? Or rather, what are they? Could the town gossip actually be true? Are they vampires?Raven, who secretly covets a vampire kiss, both at the risk of her own mortality and Alexander's loving trust, is dying to uncover the truth.

I absolutely adore this series! In all honesty, I like this book series much better than Twilight. The main character in Twilight, Bella, was just so boring, and uninteresting. What I in particular liked about Twilight is how Meyer brought originality to vampires; no fangs, gorgeous, sparkling skin, and eyes that changed color when they drank blood. What I liked about this particular series is that it gives a spin to the classic vampire story. It's where the town's weird girl, who everyone thought was a freak because she's goth and everyone else is the town is normal; preps, jocks, etc., she dreams about dating and becoming a vampire. So imagine what the main character is like when the town suspects he's a vampire Alexander was an amazing lover to his human girlfriend. He treated her with so much respect and treated her like a queen. I know people are a bit tired of the crazy vampire craze, but I  highly recommend reading this series, particularly if you read Twilight and thought it was just okay. This series is more than just the typical vampire love story, it has action and adventure, and is an amazing series to read and will give you a great laugh at how amazing the characters are!
